About Our Firm |
The National Hospital Core Process of Care measures show how often hospitals give recommended treatments for patients with certain medical conditions or surgical procedures. The measures are based on scientific evidence about treatments that are known to get the best results, and are endorsed by the Joint Commission, CMS, and an extensive group of national medical and clinical associations. Despite an extensive body of evidence that core measure compliance results in better patient care, national average hospital performance remains relatively low, and significantly lags that of "top decile" performers. |
